Santa Clara Meditation Q&A by Members – What would be your advice for teens?
This article is advice I would like to give to myself in my 40s.
- It’s okay to have any job. as long as it’s not bad
Let go of your fear of failure and do what makes your heartbeat. If you do it with sincerity, you can achieve anything.
- Meet a lot of people
When you meet different people in your life, there will be good luck and bad luck. There will be strange people, and there will be great people. We humans learn to live through our relationships with people. How well you relate to each other determines the quality of your life.
- Don’t Worry
There are very few things you can do anyway. There’s no point in worrying about it. If you’ve done something wrong, it’s better to admit that you were wrong.
- Be careful on the road at night
When I think back to my teens who walked alone in the alleyway in the middle of the night ignorantly, God definitely exists.
- The heart is the most important
Whatever it is, it’s up to you to make up your mind. Don’t envy the rich. Think about becoming rich first. The action comes next. If you don’t like your life, you have to make up your mind to change your life.
- Education is your future
Get an education by investing time and money in a field you love. Even if you can’t live on it right away, use it someday. Life is longer than you think.
- Meditate for 5 minutes before going to bed
Even if it’s a bad day, look back on your day before going to bed. It’s a lot easier than keeping a diary. You’re lazy anyway, so lie in bed and look back on your day from the moment you wake up in the morning to the night you wake up. You will be able to objectively know who you are.
