Hope my answer helps you. I also used to have an anxiety disorder a long time ago, and my mom tried her best to help me to get better. I went to see the psychotherapist and tried many different things to get better of my disorder, but it didn’t seem to get better. One day, my mom recommended me to try meditation, but I refused at first because I haven’t tried before. Also, doubted if it can help me. Anyway, I joined the class, and I have realized that the solution that I was looking for was here.
I found out what causes me anxious and nobody did tell me why. I was the person who holds the events easily whatever happened to me and living with that baggage in my heart. The meditation taught me how to let go of my anxiety and after practicing the meditation for months, I could see myself less anxious. In my opinion, when our bodies are sick, we usually go to the hospital, and when our minds are sick, we should meditate. I insist that Meditation is the healthiest to heal our minds and this is the best cure for anxiety disorder. I understand how painful anxiety disorder can be because I have been and done that.
