Master Woo Myung Teaching of Truth – One Receives Divine Blessings Only Through the Absolution of One’s Sins

When someone helps us materially or spiritually, we say we have been blessed. But a true blessing is the blessing of Truth. The blessing of Truth is to be free from the mind which is trapped in one’s self and be reborn as Truth – the Creator, the Holy Soul and Holy Spirit. Then one has the true soul and spirit, and therefore, there is no death.

In Buddhism, the trinity means that the Sambhogakāya (body of Buddha), the Dharmakāya (mind of Buddha), and the Nirmanakāya (incarnation of Buddha) are one, as Buddha himself. In Christianity, the Holy Ghost, the Holy Father, and the Holy Son are one, as God himself. In Buddhism, the original existence is referred to as Buddha. Buddha is the holy soul and spirit, Truth. The holy soul and spirit is the body and mind of Buddha. Buddha, which is the origin, is the Creator. All creation is the child of Buddha and the incarnation of the body and mind of Buddha. Likewise, the Holy Ghost, Holy Father, and Holy Son in Christianity have the same meaning; the Holy Ghost and Holy Father is the Creator and all creations in the universe are the children of this Creator. Humans, as well as all creation, were originally born as the children of the Creator, Truth. But humans were not able to become one with this existence because of their own conceptions of ‘good and evil,’ and ‘right and wrong.’

The way to become one with this existence is by being absolved of one’s sins through repentance. Sin consists of personal sin, which is the individual mind, and original sin, which is sin inherited from our ancestors upon birth. Our ancestors were also sinners and we are born with their forms. The mind of all creation and humans comes from their own forms, wherein each individual has a different mind because they have different forms. When one cleanses his personal sin and original sin through repentance, he will be absolved from his sins. When one becomes free from his self-centered conceptions and behaviors, which is his self-centered mind, he will have blessings by becoming Truth through the absolution of his sins.

When you are reborn as the body and mind of Buddha, as the soul and spirit of Truth, you will have the blessings of the Holy Ghost and Holy Father. You will know your blessings through enlightenment, to the extent you have the Holy Ghost and Holy Father in your mind. Receiving blessings through prayer means Truth is within you, and Truth is within you to the extent your mind is cleansed.
Receiving true blessings means oneself no longer exists whatsoever and has been born again as the Holy Ghost and Holy Father. By cleansing the body and mind of ‘self’ you will have true blessings when your soul and spirit is reborn as the living existence, the Creator.
