Master Woo Myung Wisdom Writing – Resurrection and Rebirth II
Resurrection is commonly understood to mean a dead person returning to life. The true meaning of resurrection is the rebirth of the true self after the death of the false self. Man is fake and false because he lives inside his mind, which is a false image. This is the reason there is not a single person who is real and righteous, because instead of living in the world, man is living inside his mind. When the human mind world – man and all material existences in the world – disappears, what remains is the original foundation, which is the source and origin of Truth. True resurrection is the rebirth from the original foundation of one who has become the mind of the original foundation.
The Bible says that no one can live unless he is reborn by the word of God. The Buddhist sutras say that Maitreya will save us. Both of these sayings mean that the existence of Truth will enable our souls to be reborn in the kingdom of Truth, and our souls will be resurrected. Resurrection is when the true self is reborn within one’s mind that has become the mind of Truth and the original foundation. Resurrection is the death of the false human and the rebirth of the real, true human. Resurrection, salvation, and rebirth all refer to the death of the false self, and the resurrection and rebirth of the true self within a person.
When one completely discards and kills the false self only what is real will remain. Resurrection is when the real body and mind is reborn in the real kingdom, the kingdom of Truth. Resurrection is only possible when you are reborn by the words of Truth. Resurrection and rebirth are only possible when the self completely dies.
