Master Woo Myung Words of Enlightenment – What is salvation?
Salvation is when the dead world and dead people are brought to life. The reason why the world is not alive is because people are incomplete.
People are incomplete because they do not live in the world, but rather live inside their mind worlds that overlap the world. This world is a film of one’s life lived etched in one’s mind, which does not actually exist. And a person lives thinking that he knows things based on what he has experienced. Therefore, since a person lives confined to his own mind world, he does false deeds in the false world and then simply ends up dying.
People are dead because they live inside their own minds, which are the false worlds. People think that all the creations in this world exist because they themselves exist. However, those creations do not exist because it is simply from within their false worlds that people think that those creations exist. When people who are false do not exist in the false world, neither the creations of this world nor the emptiness exist.
This world is not alive just because the false human mind thinks it exists. And, in fact, all the things that exist in the world, regardless of whether they are existent or nonexistent, do not actually exist.
Salvation is to save all of this. In order to save all, people, who are false, need to disappear from this world to let only the emptiness of the universe—the Origin, the Spirit and the Soul—remain. Then when people are born again from the mind of the Spirit and Soul by the words of the masters of Truth, it is salvation.
