Master Woo Myung Truth Quote – Practicing What You Preach
There is an old Korean saying
that though one may know water which is ten yards deep,
one cannot know a single inch into a man’s mind.
What this means is that
man’s mind changes morning and night,
for he has a self-centered mind.
In the morning, he says he will go this way,
but by nightfall, he changes his mind;
he does this because there is no Truth in him.
Man has delusions,
and because of them,
he has thoughts.
Man’s thoughts are acted out according to
what his delusions dictate.
The acts of man’s thoughts are not righteous;
such acts are not the same as one’s words.
We frequently see people join religions and then leave them,
citing the clergy’s unrighteous actions as being
the reason for their departure;
in other words, they do not practice what they preach.
Only God can practice what He preaches.
God does not have such a mind
and is thus able to act for Himself when needed;
His Word and His actions are not separate.
God’s actions are Truth just as they are
and so He acts accordingly.
To practice what you preach means
your thoughts cannot be separated from your actions
but that you act exactly according to the Word.
When you no longer have your delusional self inside you,
your thoughts will not go one way
while your actions go another;
the one doing the actions would be God
and thus you would act accordingly.
A person who has become Truth will act
but will have done nothing.
Furthermore, his mind and his actions would not be separate.
The age has come in which
everyone will act just as their word
and will become complete.
The age of completion is one in which
everyone will live as Truth;
it is the age in which only reality will remain
so that everything will be fulfilled according to this reality.
To be fulfilled means
to be complete and to be Truth.
The world will be a perfect place
where the Word and actions are one.
Now is the age of actions,
in which these actions are real
and will thus remain.
