Master Woo Myung Book – The Living Eternal World – God’s Image and God’s Work
There is only one God in this universe.
God’s image is like light and is thus nonmaterial.
Just as light exists but as a nonmaterial existence,
so is the existence of God.
There is not a single place in this world
where he does not exist.
One will die once one sees God.
One’s self will die but one will be reborn as God.
Man cannot see this God
because he lives a self-centered life;
because he is trapped inside himself due to
his attachment-filled mind.
Only a person who has been completely absolved of his sins
and has thus become God
may see Him.
A person who has become God has the Mind,
or in other words, the great consciousnessthat is as infinite as God,
and therefore he is able to see God.
The body is the vessel that contains the mind –
the mind which is the consciousness.
Likewise, the vessel that contains God is
the infinite emptiness of the Universe.
This emptiness is the Creator;
this emptiness and God are one
and exist for themselves.
He who is one with this Creator, or in other words God,
lives the life of God – a life that follows Nature’s flow.
Such a life is one that is absent of one’s self
and there is a life of freedom.
It is a life that is led for the purpose of saving man who is dead
and to do the work of the Land of the living God.
God is alive;
thus a person who has become God will not die
but will live forever on the blessings that he has gathered.
