Teacher Woo Myung Quote – Faith
Faith is
the conviction of the mind.
One has conviction in his mind
when his mind believes.
One’s mind – one’s consciousness – believes when
he becomes that which he believes in;
only then will he have conviction.
One believes in God
when God becomes him completely;
only then does he have conviction in his mind.
True faith is the conviction one’s mind has
when it has completely become that which it believes in.
There are those who mistake their false beliefs
as being true faith.
But true faith is the conviction of the mind,
for which one has conviction in his mind
when he sees, knows, and has become
the object of one’s faith.
One’s ignorance, lack of knowledge, and sins
are the reasons why one has delusions.
One must know nothing
and be curious about absolutely nothing
in order to be a complete being.
One who has no sin and has thus become Truth
is one who has Truth in the thoughts that are in his forehead;
consequently, he is one who has been absolved of his sins
and has thus become a complete being;
he is one who has nothing more to be cleansed of.
