Santa Clara Meditation Find Your True Self – Now I Know Why Life Seems Like an One-Day Dream
La Im Kwon
As I meditated in level 1 for the course of two weeks, I was able to find myself positively changing day by day. As my heart and mind became more comfortable, I found myself always smiling and my useless thoughts disappeared.
At first, it was not easy to think that the life and world that I had lived in until now, and everything in it was a picture in my mind. But as I discarded one picture by one picture, I came to understand that I had lived until now in my mind’s picture world. I had viewed very moment self-centeredly and captured that picture in my mind.
‘That is a good person. That is a bad person.’ Everything was judged according to my set of conceptions, which came from the pictures. I thought according to how I wanted to think, and I came to think the ‘me’ who was suffering was quite pathetic. I had the mind of addiction to my family, my desire to be recognized, and my helping others without any sincerity of truly doing for those people.
As I continue to practice the meditation, I want to find the true me and discard the selfish me. I hope that many people will come to know that living in the mind’s world has no meaning and value since it is just a dream of the night, and I hope that many people will escape from the mind world.
